The Terms and Conditions of Use, hereafter called "Agreement", are provided by Harrison Legal Services, hereafter HLS, an online Ohio law practice operated and managed by Attorney Annie Harrison, a licensed Ohio solo practitioner.  This Agreement will govern use of this website, including all content provided on the website, and access to all online services provided by HLS. By using this website, you agree without modification to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge reading them.

Limitation of Representation

Annie Harrison is licensed to practice law in Ohio. This website and law office offer services related only to Ohio law. HLS does not seek, and this website is not intended to solicit, legal employment in any state that would constitute the unauthorized practice of law.

Contact before Attorney-Client Relationship is Established

Transmission of information from contact forms or attorney's e-mail through this site does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Any information conveyed to HLS via the Internet may not be secure, and information conveyed prior to establishing an attorney-client relationship may not be privileged or confidential. Therefore, please do not send any confidential information to HLS until an attorney-client relationship has been clearly established.

Establishing an Attorney-Client Relationship

An attorney-client relationship will be established only after Annie Harrison has expressly communicated the ability to represent you. The attorney may decline to represent you if a possible conflict of interest is discovered, or if she believes your legal needs cannot be addressed in an online setting. Please do not use the website contact form or attorney's email to provide confidential information to the attorney as no attorney-client privilege is formed until the Legal Services Agreement is signed by client and attorney.

Registration

In order to request legal services from HLS, you must register on this website so that Annie Harrison can evaluate whether your needs can be met in an online setting. There is no fee to register on this website. If Annie Harrison agrees to represent you, a secure, password-protected client account will be created for you using the information you provide. Your information may be shared with a third party in order to provide the service you requested, or as otherwise required by law. All other use of your personal information will be limited to your attorney-client relationship with Annie Harrison. This site uses cookies to store a session id. Therefore, in order to use the website, cookies must be enabled so that we can provide you with a secure transaction.

By registering on this website, you are representing that you are 18 years of age and able to enter into a binding contract with HLS. Furthermore, you are representing that you are registering under your own legal name, and not under a pseudonym, fictitious name or alias, and that all personal information provided is true and accurate. HLS requests that personal contact information be updated as needed through your personal client account. All clients must be prepared to provide valid photo identification upon attorney's request.

Privacy Policy

HLS greatly respects the privacy of the visitors to this website. We do not collect any personally identifying information from website visitors unless the visitor voluntarily submits such information. This website may collect non-personally identifying information to monitor our website traffic and for statistical analysis purposes. However, we protect the confidentiality and security of this information. Scope of Services

The scope of legal services which HLS will perform for you will be expressly agreed upon in writing by you before any legal services are performed, and will not include any services that have been expressly excluded or are otherwise outside the scope of the written Legal Services Agreement. HLS provides affordable legal documents for a one-time flat fee which will be clearly stated in the Legal Services Agreement signed by both client and attorney. If services outside the scope of the written agreement are required, the client may request a price quote for additional legal work.

Client Funds

In most situations, a client’s funds will not be transferred to HLS until the legal services requested by the client are ready to be accessed and received by the client from their client account.  After the client’s payment of the agreed upon price is confirmed, the client will have complete access to the legal documents or services provided by the attorney.

Satisfaction Guarantee

As with any legal service, HLS cannot guarantee any legal outcome. No information published on this website should be construed as a guarantee of any particular outcome or result. Nevertheless, HLS is pleased to provide our clients with a 30 day money back guarantee if we cannot satisfy your reasonable requests concerning the legal documents purchased on this website.
